Jaisalmer Fort

The Jaisalmer Fort, also known as Sonar Quila, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most iconic landmarks of the city. Patwon Ki Haveli

Patwon Ki Haveli is a beautiful complex of five havelis built in the 19th century by a wealthy merchant family. The havelis are renowned for their intricate carvings, frescoes, and jharokhas (overhanging balconies), which showcase the rich artistic heritage of Rajasthan. The havelis now house a museum that displays traditional Rajasthani artifacts, including textiles, weapons, and household items.

Bada Bagh

Bada Bagh is a beautiful garden complex located about 6 km from the city. The complex houses several chhatris (pavilions) and cenotaphs (memorial tombs) of the Maharajas of Jaisalmer. The garden is a popular spot for picnics and evening walks and offers stunning views of the surrounding desert.

Sam Sand Dunes

The Sam Sand Dunes are located about 40 km from the city and offer visitors a chance to experience the beauty of the Thar Desert. The dunes stretch over an area of about 2 km and rise up to a height of 30-60 meters. Visitors can take a camel ride, go on a desert safari, or watch the sunset over the dunes. Jaisalmer War Museum

Salim Singh Ki Haveli
